Deeper states of mind occur when the inner workings of the mind, consisting of thoughts and feelings, are transcended and let go of. These consist of self images that connect the individual to various social processes. When these images are transcended, one will reach a deeper condition of the mind, that activates deeper regions of the frontal lobe. This produces a meditative state of being, that involves an inner space and a more transcendent condition of the identity, beyond personal and social constructions.
