Normally, we think of good health as the absence of disease, plus the feeling of well-being, whatever the degree. This is certain correct in relation to conventional standards. But there is another criteria for good health. Health involves many different levels: physical, mental and emotional. To really begin the process of health or healing, we need to find the means to look at our self closely, so we can understand how these three levels intersect. Through an intelligent understanding, we can find those blocks which cause dis-ease in the mind and emotion, which then translate into the body and behavior. Remedies, such as diet, exercise and other correctives are important, but secondary to this profound insight of the innerelationship of the three functions of mind, emotion and the physical organism.
