The most important paradox of living is that we are both important and not important at the same time.  We are important from the simple fact that we are the center of our own experience.  Even if we are not the center of attention, the world still revolves around us.  On the other hand, we are very inconsequential, not only on macroscopic terms, for we are just a speck in the whole universe, but from the fact that most of use do not get attention all the time.  Unless we are an actual celebrity with fame, we often do not recieve consistent positive attention.  We are essentially a Somebody and a Nobody.  These can be totally embraced as an aspect of Self-knowledge.  Through training our minds, hearts and bodies we can still realize both of these aspects - as Being in the World - being Somebody - and then through contact our essential Nothingness - as being Nobody.  This allows to embrace this profound existential paradox, which promotes an undying wisdom.
